This is a simple tool I made for rolling encounters. It uses some tables from Vaults of Vaarn zines by Leo Hunt and a population density mechanic from the D30 Sandbox Companion. It was assembled and scripted in Godot Game Engine. You can play it right here on this page or download it as an .exe file (although Windows may complain because it's an unsigned .exe)

How it works:

1. Pick your population density. The more settlements and trade routes there are nearby, the denser, and vice versa;

2. Enable or disable combat encounters. When those are off, creatures still can be encountered as passerbys, in lairs or you can encounter hints leading to these creatures.

3. Click "ROLL".

EDIT: Sorry, friend, the "Copy to clipboard" button doesn't work in the browser :( Try the desktop version if you really need it.

There's also an option to roll one of the specific tables loaded in the app.

Just run it in the browser. If you want it for your desktop, download and extract the .zip, run the .exe and in the scary warning window click More -> Run anyway.
